We are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer Scrum Master, with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) experience to support program area responsibilities. This principal systems engineer will work amongst other Systems Engineers and will support the chief engineer, and lead systems engineers. The ideal candidate would be a scrum master with agile development experience that spans multiple engineering functions. The ideal candidate will lead a scrum of scrum masters to ensure that all teams are coordinated and their output products are aligned. The selected candidate will also engage integrated product team leads and cost account managers to ensure that value-added Agile metrics are effectively integrated into the agile development process.
This effort will require the selected candidate to:
Lead the scrum of scrum masters and drive the execution of multi-discipline development team
Communicate with stakeholders, customers, and upper management on the progress and obstacles
Ensure that earned value management accurately reflects the progress in an agile development environment
Present technical presentations to both internal and external customers
Interface with team leads, team members, and other teams (Electrical, Mechanical, Software and Hardware) on a daily basis
Participate in customer and/or program technical review presentations, and provide task progress and solution status updates
Create Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation and support bidding process
Ensure consistent application of engineering best practices and activity undertaken are conducted to common standards in accordance with outlined processes

Clearance Requirements:
An active and in-scope Secret U.S. security clearance
Required Skills:
Extensive Scrum Master experience that spans across multiple engineering discipline (e.g. electrical, software, mechanical, hardware)
Experience writing Interface Design Descriptions (IDDs) and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
Experience with systems engineering technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques
Working knowledge of ICD 503
Experience in engineering, (mechanical, electrical, software, systems) to include a MBSE related tool set:
- SysML
- Rhapsody
- Cameo/Magic Draw
Knowledge of software development lifecycle models (Agile) and program lifecycle modes
Design development program using Agile Framework methodology
Knowledge of at least two systems engineering functions:
- requirements development and management
- architecture
- digital transformation
- system design
- integration and test
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycles and application of relevant methodologies and toolsets
Experience collaborating with internal company, inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters
Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-discipline environment to produce deliverable products
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools
Desired Skills:
Experience writing proposals, bidding, or generating basis of estimate documentation
Knowledge of integration of payload and other systems onto aircraft
Experience with Doors Next
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques and metrics, ideally on agile efforts
Skilled at anticipating problems and planning to mitigate them
Experience with open systems architecture (OSA)
Experience writing white papers and responding to requests for information (RFIs)
Required Education:
