Job Summary

This opportunity is open to current PSEG employees only.

Responsible for overseeing cost and project controls for the Environmental Projects and Services (EP&S) team. This role includes direct supervision of PSE&G and contract personnel, coordination of all cost and project control data and reports, and assuring compliance with PSE&Gs financial compliance requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

* Project Scope coordination; Project Execution Plan input, preparation, coordination, monitoring; Project Estimate; assist in project schedule development, contractor coordination and management; Invoice and Accrual Management; Project management assistance; Integrated cost and scheduling; Total Project and Annual Budget development; Financial analysis; Cost accounting and forecasting; Variance analysis; Performance reporting; Project change management; Risk and Contingency
* Implement standard cost, schedule and risk programs, processes and practices to ensure Design and Construction projects are performed in accordance with approved budgets and schedules
* Develop, coordinate and maintain financial, schedule, estimate, budget, resource, procurement, risk and other data within Primavera P6 and other systems / databases and query tools for individual projects and for the project portfolio
* Develop, coordinate and maintain status and variance reporting and executive dashboards for the financial aspects and schedules for projects, including performance indices such as CPI, SPI, Earned Value, and other Key Performance Indices (KPIs)
* Manage waste data in support of EH&S corporate metrics, sustainability and contract support.
* Point of contact with procurement for EP&S
* Provide contract management support for the team
* EP&S O&M Budget Management
* Interact with internal and external stakeholders

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

* Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental, Construction or minimum of six years professional business, engineering, environmental or construction experience
* Minimum of 7 years experience with Business Financials or Project Controls (Cost and Scheduling)
* Experience with ERP system (SAP preferred) or Project Management software (Primavera preferred)
* Demonstrated MS office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Preferred / Desired Skills:
* Project Management Professional Certification
* Demonstrated leadership role in cost control, data management or corporate initiatives
* Microsoft Access
