ROLE SUMMARY

The Enablement Optimization Lead manages Planning & Performance, Rightsourcing, Data Stewardship, and On Demand portal teams who ensure that Biopharma Ops evolves to meet the needs of future demand.

This leader will strategically collaborate with senior business leaders and Biopharma Ops colleagues to support Patient & HCP Marketing and Customer Facing Enablement operations solutions under a single, global model.

The individual will coordinate efforts with other leaders in the Enablement (Service Design and Delivery) organization to proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement / re-engineering of repeatable service delivery processes across service verticals. They will also manage technology (e.g. On Demand platform) and data quality to provide operational and business decision support.

The individual will play a key role in the efforts to structure Biopharma Ops as a reimagined operations-focused group embedded within Biopharma with the vision of being a more focused, agile and efficient team that will deliver next generation solutions and enable the achievement of Collective Advantage. Finally, they will drive sourcing support, including management of outsource hubs.

Key Attributes:

Responsible for managing enablement optimization activities for Biopharma Ops org serving 6000+ customers

Accountable for leading ~40 delivery professionals serving 85+ markets

Enables compliant and efficient processes across marketing and customer facing services for commercial operations globally

Collaborates across Biopharma Ops to provide high quality service delivery at scale

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Enablement Optimization services

* Oversee Global Rightsourcing org. with responsibilities spanning end to end strategic sourcing, including vendor performance management and leadership of Global Ops Service Centers (outsource hubs)

* Manage OnDemand online self-service portal for customers to receive commercial ops services. Digitize internal client service delivery & bring operational excellence through global on-demand portals

* Lead Planning & Performance function through ongoing assessment of service delivery, leading to recommendations for optimizing service quality, and managing associated organizational change

* Manage Data Stewardship & Reporting through provision of customer facing field force reporting and maintaining oversight of data quality to effectively provide business decision support, development of strategies to ensure continued data quality

Identify opportunities for improving delivery of service through increases in efficiency and scale

* Manage service innovation / optimization of above Enablement Optimization services through leadership of Service Design Owners for OnDemand and Data Stewardship & Reporting

* Improve quality, consistency (One Pfizer), and compliance across BUs and countries

* Evaluate opportunities for increasing automation of promotional review through cross-BU technology investment

* Streamline and scale systems across markets and BUs with central support

* Reduce overall vendor spend across Biopharma Ops Org

Partner with Biopharma Ops leaders defining priorities and allocation of resources to drive efficient delivery

* Possess a deep understanding of the regional business landscapes and BU strategies to determine key priorities and their impact on Enablement Optimization activities

* Proactively engage with Biopharma Ops Partners (BOPs) and BU leads to 1) ensure alignment of Biopharma Ops client strategies and 2) determine optimal resource allocation and investment that enables efficient and high-quality service delivery

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* BA Required; MBA or equivalent Masters-level education preferred

* 15 years in the pharmaceutical commercial business

* Extensive leadership experience including leading senior level management

* Trained in Six Sigma/Lean process improvement methodology

* Extensive experience leading through matrix teams

* Extensive experience in working with different markets that span various cultures, languages, and time zones

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* MBA or equivalent Masters-level education preferred
