Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst/Physical Security Lead. This position will be located at Vandenberg Air Force Base in Vandenberg, CA and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. The selected candidate will be responsible for the implementation of the physical security standards for secure buildings. They will prepare pre-construction plans, Fixed Facility Checklists and all supporting documentation required for customer approvals of secure areas. The selected candidate will work with a team of other security professionals. The responsibilities may also include, but are not limited to the following: supporting a fast-paced, high profile program; creating, maintaining and leveraging working relationships with internal and external customers; developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment; studying and implementing federal security regulations that apply to company operations; obtaining rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies; preparing manuals outlining regulations and establishing procedures for handling, storing and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor rsquo;s access to restricted records and materials.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor rsquo;s degree and 10 years of related FSO/CPSO experience, or a combination of FSO/CPSO experience and Operations experience; 8 years of experience with a Master 39;s Degree (an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor rsquo;s degree).

- Current Active Top Secret clearance or transferable SCI access.

- Current background investigation (within six years) and ability to successfully obtain Special Access Program access.

- Demonstrated background in DoD physical security construction standards for protecting national security information.

- Thorough and interpretive knowledge of DoD regulations to include DoD 5205.07 SAP Manuals Volumes 1-4, ICD 705 version 1.5 and NISPOM Chapter 5, Section 9.

- Basic understanding of construction tradecraft and interpreting construction design drawings.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in program security, with knowledge of implementing a multi-disciplined security program (access control, personnel security, physical security, OPSEC etc.)

- Working knowledge of SIMS, JPAS and DISS

- Experience working with customer-based security components

- Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
