Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking to hire a Security Coordinator 3 to support our Dulles, VA facilities.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Supporting a fast-paced high profile environment.
* Create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers.
* Meticulous record keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets.
Other duties include the following:
* Maintains lock and key records and manages accountability and/or issues media (CDs, DVDs, etc...) to enable file transfers. Verifies accuracy of information prior to issuing media. Maintains database for controlled security documents and information.
* Performs file transfers as requested using established file transfer processes and procedures
* Performs escorting and access control activities in and around secure facilities and must be willing and able to work variable shifts if necessary (afternoons, evenings and possibly weekends).
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years.
* High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of administrative or operations experience.
* Organized and efficient at time management.
* Computer and desktop office software products experience (Word, Excel etc...)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor 39;s degree.
* Self-starter with minimal supervision.
* Ability to display tact, discretion and diplomacy in a variety of program areas.
* Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
* Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills and organizational skills enabling effective communications.
* Able to maintain an active U.S. Government SCI access and a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI - 6 years).
