Industrial Lab Technician needed for busy Lab In DeSoto, KS 1st Shift Position $18/hr
Manpower has an opportunity for an Industrial Lab Technician with our client in DeSoto, KS - This position offers benefits, advancement, free educational opportunities, and the chance to work at a company promoting positive animal health and safety.
Shift:
Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm
Duties include:
* Washing and sterilizing tanks utilizing high/low pressure water systems and high temperature steam.
* Under limited supervision, this position will work in a fast paced, environment performing production procedures in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Operate production equipment, including start up, minor adjustments, and quality monitoring
* Responsible for complete and accurate documentation.
* Clean and sanitize work areas as necessary, in accordance with SOP.
Requirements:
* High School Diploma
* Degree in Biology or related science field strongly preferred.
*1+ year experience in relevant manufacturing experience.
* Self-Directed
* Detail oriented
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Safety conscious at all times
* Able to comply and function while wearing all required PPE including PAPR respirator and full gowning
* Basic mechanical skills and aptitude.
* Familiarity with computer systems such as Microsoft Office and Outlook is required.
