Job Description

The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for a variety of functions in the Distribution Center. These tasks may include receiving, maintaining and shipping product.

Job Responsibilities

* Pack inventory and prepare for shipment. This may include loading pallets, banding the package, shrink wrapping, etc.

* Utilize an RF Scanner on a daily basis to complete orders.

* Verify inventory accuracy.

* The ability to operate a shipping manifest system.

* Transport product via the use of forklifts.

* Compare packing slips and shipping documents to inventory.

* Work in a timely manner to meet production standards established for various finished goods.

* Accuracy and attention to detail throughout daily activities.

* Maintain a clean work area to meet safety regulations of the facility.

* Work in a team environment to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.

Basic Qualifications

* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* Must be at least 18 years of age.

* Ability to lift at least 100 lbs.

* Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

* Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and push or pull parts or containers frequently.

* Must be able to operate a forklift. Training is provided to obtain certification.

* Ability to read and perform math functions at a basic level.

* Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

* Distribution or warehouse experience preferred.

* Forklift experience preferred.
