JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for financial and business direction of the Construction Risk Management (CRM) line of service with the objective of meeting company goals and mission.
Establishes core leadership team as well as professionals and staff to ensure consistent delivery that meets CBRE service delivery guidelines.
Provides for recruitment, selection, performance management, development and retention of high caliber team to carry out the organization's mission.
Provides a system of review of all construction management reports within the designated line of service to minimize risk management issues.
Creates, communicates and monitors the vision, mission, strategy, objectives, business plan, budget, policies and operating plans.
Leads by example to earn respect and trust of peers, employees and clients.
Provides appropriate feedback loop to ACS Divisional Leader on relevant issues.
Responsible for business development, and collaborating with the Business Development team in the service line including expanding client relationships to target business growth opportunities.
Prepares short- and long-range plans, priorities and objectives and the annual budget.
Responsible for meeting financial goals for the line of service.
Implements a career development and succession plan along with an effective retention program for key personnel while creating a more diverse organization. Other duties may be assigned.
Directs the planning, organization, and controls for a major corporate functional line of service.
May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix reports.
Determines, monitors and reports on staffing levels, utilization and deployment of human resources within area of responsibility.
Identifies key positions within area of responsibility and works with executive team and HR to develop effective succession plans.
Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level of management for review and approval.
Provides guidance and leadership to staff in areas of staffing, selection training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, performance of job duties within the CRM line of service, and rewarding performance and retention of key contributors.

Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university required.
Masters degree (MA, MS or MBA) preferred.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in the Construction Management, Cost Estimation, Design Feasibility Review and the role as a fiduciary to major bank and lending institutions.
Licensing as a Registered Architect or Professional Engineer is a plus.
Proven ability to manage a large, diverse, national team.
Demonstrates knowledge/capability in the areas of financial analysis, business administration, legal, human resources, ethical practices, marketing, and business development.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.
Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style.
Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.
Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.
Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates.
Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions.

Approves and oversees department/line of service budget.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment.
