This is a great opportunity for making an impact in a growing and important part of Intel's core business. As a member of Intel DPG's Data Center Platform Applications Engineering team, you will be working closely with both internal engineering development teams and external industry leading OEMs to ensure technical readiness of Intel's next generation Xeon Workstation designs.

As a Senior Customer Platform Engineer you will...

Influence the development of next-generation Workstation platforms and/or technologies by representing the best interests of external customers.

Work with Intel's Field team to ensure the time to market enabling of customers' Workstation designs by collaborating with customers on various design, development and validation activities. This includes debugging and resolving complex issues, delivering technical trainings and presentations. You will also drive and/or complete design reviews, perform system/board debug, clarify design requirements etc.

Have the opportunity to develop and present technical presentations at major Intel events including Data Center Design Conference and technology workshops.

Deliver debug and validation programs/tools to facilitate customer or their ODM's debug of system issues.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

* 5+ years of industry experience either in HW and/or FW/SW design, validation or customer enabling.

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

* 10+ years of industry experience either in Intel Architecture (IA) based HW and/or FW/SW design, validation or customer enabling.

* Experience with one or more areas like high speed interface technologies such as QPI, PCIE, CXL and DDR, board design, BIOS/FW development
