First Funding services roughly 425 accounts nationwide and growing!

What Is Warehouse Lending?
It is the money a mortgage company borrows to lend to a home buyer for the short period between closing and the sale of the mortgage to the secondary market, usually Freddie and Fannie.

In greater detail, warehouse lending is a short-term, revolving funding facility to a mortgage banking company to fund the closing of home mortgages between the sale closing to sale in the secondary market. The note is used as interim collateral for financing the mortgage until it is sold and delivered to the permanent investor.

Job Overview:
The Account Executive Intern will be responsible for assisting sales and marketing in the management of our existing client base and the acquisition of additional clients. This internship would begin June 1st through August. First American Interns work in a corporate environment within the Financial/Title Industrybalanced with intern-specific activities, executive level presentations and networking opportunitieswhile under the close supervision and guidance of a manager and/or mentor.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Sales-Related database review.
Learn from and assist FirstFunding Account Executives and Sales Management
Review and processing of applications from prospective customers.
Participate in trade shows and conventions, trainings and select customer call visits. (If Applicable)
Other tasks and projects as may be directed by management from time to time.

Currently a senior in an undergrad program, set to graduate in or around December 2021.
