Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a talented Journeyman Electrician for Operations and Maintenance Services supporting a University Program in Northern Virginia .
*** This position is contingent upon contract award. ***
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be compliant with city, state and national electric codes.
Properly reading blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
Install conduits, motors, panels and other components as directed.
Install new electrical wire as required.
Provide power and controls to motors, HVAC systems and other equipment.
Diagnose and make electrical repairs.
Work within project scheduling timelines.
Follow safety guidelines.
Coordinate and work with other trades.
Qualifications:
Journeyman Electrician's License required
Must have an active Top Secret Clearance
A minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
