About the position
Our mission is to build a modern, redesigned TV experience for our SlingTV customers, building highly
available systems that drive personalized content to each user from a vast library.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be

* Be available to work onsite out of our American Fork, UT
* Have professional enterprise development experience
* Have experience building and managing large, highly available enterprise grade applications
* Highly motivated, driven & hard working
* Not afraid to fail
* Comfortable working in a TDD & CI/CD environment

We are looking for enthusiastic, curious and solid Python/Typescript engineers who are keen to learn new
leading technologies and improve our tech Automation.

Your responsibilities as a Software Engineer with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in the industry

* A self-motivated go-getter ready to take on challenges and drive with limited supervision
* Design and develop Automation framework and scripts using latest frameworks and python
technologies and contribute in all phases of the development/testing lifecycle
* Ensure Test scripts are in compliance with specifications and prepare / produce releases of
software components / modules
* Ensure that the design/implementation of Automation Framework is highly modular, portable and
optimized for the given platform
* Familiar with Black box and White box testing for Unit tests as well as Integration tests
* Familiar with writing test scripts for REST API and Web services for microservice based
architecture

Your Technical comfort zone :

* Proven working experience in python development and expert in writing Automation test scripts
using latest python frameworks
* Good understanding of unit testing and Integration testing frameworks like pytest, Cucumber and Behave testing frameworks
* Good experience with writing test scripts for Web services and REST APIs
* Proficient in debugging and analysis
* Comfortable with development environments like Webstorm, IntelliJ
* Focus on clean code and performance and debugging with Postman, chrome dev tools

Good to have experience:

* Knowledge of SQL and understanding of any RDBMS / NoSQL database
* Hands on experience in developing web applications using Javascript
* Experience developing automation using Selenium and other UI test frameworks

Compensation: $86,400.00/Yr. - $120,200.00/Yr.
