A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

* Work closely with clients, information architects, data engineers, and compliance professionals to turn data into critical information and insights that can be used to make sound business decisions. This includes providing data that is congruent and reliable. Requires creative thinking and the ability to propose innovative ways to look at problems through discovering new patterns from large datasets. By applying advanced analytics, you will build statistical and mathematical models to support understanding of key drivers of compliance health and to quantify impact of influencers on compliance metrics as well as:
* Program Development: Collaborate with compliance partners within SCE to build out a comprehensive Compliance Metrics Program.
* Case Understanding: Consult with SCE partners and compliance professionals across OUs to develop an understanding of business needs and operations, goals and objectives, key drivers of compliance.
* Collect Data Requirements: Identify what data is available and relevant to compliance by collaborating with information architects and data-stewards/SMEs.
* Data Preparation: Facilitate selection and preparation of data to be used for specific use cases.
* Modeling & Deployment: Design, develop and evaluate highly innovative models for predictive learning. Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation and model implementation.
* Advise: Guide and lead data analytics efforts to improve metrics/targets used to explain compliance health/maturity.

Qualifications
The essentials

* Bachelors Degree in any STEM or related technical subject area.
* Seven years of experience using data analytics to evaluate program/departmental results.
* Experience in data mining, predictive modeling, machine learning, or statistical modeling.

The preferred

* Graduate degree in quantitative subject area (i.e., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, business analytics or informatics).
* Certification in Data Science and/or Predictive Analytics.
* Proficiency in any of the following: SQL, R, Python, SAS, Power BI, Excel VBA, expertise in extracting and transforming large datasets.
* Experience building dashboards, business intelligence tools and visualization solutions.
* Experience in leading and mentoring junior team members.
