ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
* Work from verbal instructions / blue prints / drawings and/or work orders.
* Setup equipment / prepare surfaces to be welded /weld parts.
* Must be able to use hand tools such as grinders, etc.
* Maintain inventory of parts used in area.
* Must report all accidents/injuries to department supervisor immediately.
* Prompt and regular attendance.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES:
* May perform additional duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
* Keep work area clean, neat and orderly.
* Follow all safety rules, policies and procedures
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Must have prior TIG work experience
* Must be able to demonstrate good welding ability with minimal training
* Must have basic math skills
* Must have good hand/eye coordination
* Must have TIG experience and pass internal welding test
* Must complete the Career Readiness Certification
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* A high school diploma or GED is required
