POSITION SUMMARY:
The Parts Central Pricing Coordinator serves as a vital member of the Customer Service and Operations team by acquiring and communicating reliable delivery dates through various ERP/CRM/software programs. The Pricing Coordinator will also perform system revisions to update new and/or expired pricing. This position requires the highest degree of teamwork and commitment to implementing practices, policies, systems, and services that support the urgency in dealing with customers on a day-to-day basis.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
* Update truck down expedite log with latest delivery information daily.
* Communicate new expedite requests to appropriate internal personnel.
* Work cross-functionally with multiple internal departments and external vendors to confirm upcoming delivery dates and record revisions in ERP/CRM/software systems.
* Respond to internal Parts Central Service Desk tickets and CSR inquiries requesting updated delivery information.
* Answer overflow Customer Care phone calls and direct customers to a CSR.
* Backfill Customer Care during vacations, peak volume call periods, or as requested.
* Update new and expired pricing from cost sheet.
* Demonstrate a general and growing knowledge of Parts Central product lines.
* Understand internal manufacturing processes used in the Heil production facility and utilize this knowledge to drive solutions to customer and operational needs.
* Participate in available training and be a proactive student of new product releases, product bulletins, etc.
* Gain proficiency in multiple computer applications for use in inquiry, purchasing, and part order management.
* Other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
* High School Diploma plus a combination of college education and/or work experience will be considered.
* 3-5 years sales, customer service, purchasing, and/or account management experience is a necessity.
* Mechanical or equipment sales, material planning, engineering tech, and/or manufacturing background is desirable.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. The individual must have a professional phone presence.
* Winsome personality. Work well in a team atmosphere and develop profitable relationships within ESG, with external ESG vendors, and the dealer/key account network.
* Exceptional work ethic. Be punctual, attend work as scheduled, and be willing to perform beyond expectations to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Willingness to work overtime or remotely as needed to complete job tasks is a necessity.
* Personal sense of urgency. The Pricing Coordinator should be self-motivated with an internal drive to identify and remain engaged with the problem until it is successfully resolved.
* Insightful and intuitive thinker. Use problem-solving skills to analyze data, brainstorm solutions, and determine root causes for permanent resolution.
* Multi-Tasker. Able to multi-task numerous job responsibilities with minimal direction. Work in a self-directed work team to meet company objectives while supporting and meeting customer demands.
* Positive attitude. Be customer-focused and have a can do attitude that positively impacts the mood of the room. Must own personal work assignments while also being willing to absorb duties of coworkers as needed.
* Strong mechanical aptitude. Able to understand and translate engineer drawings and technical instructions to customers and vendors.
* Self-starter. Work under the direction of the Customer Care Supervisor but must be able to prioritize and accomplish personal duties with minimal oversight.
* Flexible and open-minded. Willing to learn new skills and adapt to changing processes in a constantly evolving and dynamic work environment.
* Computer literate. The Pricing Coordinator role requires high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer concepts. Aptitude to learn various integrated CRM and ERP software applications is necessary. JD Edwards or similar ERP experience is desirable.
