Plans, directs, and evaluates the overall nursing care and functions in Rehab Services. Coordinates, organizes, and assigns work. Assesses, monitors, and educates on patient care. Responsible for compliance with overall nursing practice standards. Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed staff in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift. Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal patient care and appropriate use of available resources. Reports to Department Director. Alabama Board of Nursing (ABN) licensure required. Associate Degree in Nursing Required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. 2 or more years of experience in specialty area required with previous supervisory experience preferred.

Frequently exposed to blood and/or body fluids or potentially infective materials. Requires constant hearing, speaking, vision and repetitive hand movement. Requires attention to detail despite frequent interruptions.
