Position Overview:
The Digital Workplace team is responsible for designing and implementing a connected digital experience for employees which is easy to navigate, enables collaboration, knowledge sharing, and solving problems. The team is also responsible for driving adoption of the digital platforms, ensuring that teams and individuals are deriving business value from the toolkit.
Reporting to the Global Director, Digital Workplace, the Senior Manager, Digital Workplace Analytics and Insights will be responsible for developing a comprehensive program for using data about platform usage to drive adoption. The person in this role needs to be both business-oriented and technically savvy. The role will have responsibility for the technology portfolio used to capture, analyze, and visualize DWP usage data. Just as importantly, the Director, DWP Analytics and Insights will be responsible for delivering actionable and high impact insights that continuously drive adoption and desired behaviors, thereby enabling the organization to achieve our business goals.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
As part of the Digital Workplace leadership team, the Director, DWP Analytics and Insights will represent the DWP analytics throughout the organization and to all levels of seniority. Responsibilities include articulating and executing vision and strategy, managing, and enhancing our analytics technologies and enablement to ensure analytics is usable, actionable, and valuable for today and into the future as needs evolve and mature.
Vision/strategy
* Create and execute the DWP analytics vision and strategy, enabling solutions that see across the entire digital landscape, in alignment with business leadership priorities and stakeholder requirements.
* Key areas for strategy definition include:
* How to understand and drive communication and collaboration patterns and behaviors
* How to understand consumption patterns for content on the intranet and self-help and help platforms
* How to understand and visualize networks and knowledge sharing across the business
* Know, or quickly learn, the Coca-Cola business, its key metrics and how to make the linkage between the business and the DWP platforms.
* Develop a standard set of DWP key performance indicators, ranging from high level executive dashboards to deeper dives into particular teams and platforms to understand maturity levels, trends and patterns, and identify interventions.
* Work with other data teams (HR, Finance) to achieve enterprise-wide alignment on KPIs and work with them to show how DWP adoption impacts key HR goals around engagement, retention, etc and impacts key business outcomes.
* Promote a risk-aware culture when it comes to data. Ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes. Keep on top of changing requirements and practices for maintaining ethical DWP data handling.
Technology
* Provide a DWP analytics technology vision, strategy and approach for scalable, efficient and automated processes that enable simple and complex data analysis.
* Identify, select, implement, manage, and continuously improve the analytics software and technology portfolio as usage matures. Key technologies currently in the portfolio include the Microsoft stack and all admin data, Microsoft Graph, MS Workplace Analytics, Power BI, Swoop Analytics, and more.
* Ensure that the technology strategy is aligned with overall company data strategy and that in the medium- and long-term, the technologies will align for optimal effectiveness and efficiency.
* Maintain operational excellence on the team to ensure high quality methods to gather and manage large datasets from multiple sources, transforming or cleaning data as necessary.
* Define and then work with owners of other data sources (such as Active Directory) to implement standard processes and controls to maintain data integrity across systems.
* Lead the development and implementation of data analyses, visualizations, and predictive analytics to provide DWP trends and insights to the rest of the organization.
* Apply applicable analytics technologies to provide reporting, analytics, visualizations, and predictive analytics in alignment with overall company data strategy.
* Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a standard reporting dashboard across primary stakeholder groups (ELT, Platform Services leadership, Digital Champions, HR partners, etc).
* Monitor and regularly upgrade the DWP analytics platform to address current and emerging business needs. Actively pursue the development and ongoing improvement of self-service reporting and analytics tools and capabilities.
* Ensure that any data activities are in alignment with data privacy standards.
Communication/Advocacy
* Serve as the main leader communicating about DWP insights and action plans to the senior leadership team, Technology Services, the HR community, Digital Champions, etc.
* Smoothly and authoritatively explain findings from the data and easily translate recommendations into the language of the business. Talk about data to stakeholders in a way that shows whats in it for me.
* Create collaboration and consensus across other reporting and analytics teams, and other stakeholders (HR, IT) in regard to all aspects of DWP data and analytics.
* Build, implement and maintain the technology infrastructure needed to help our team answer key business questions and further prioritize the companys work/investment in the DWP space to deliver strategic value at the right time and cost.
* Represent the organization outside the organization to share best practices and continuously learn new leading practices and apply within the business as applicable.
Enablement
* Create and implement common methodology and tools for project management, data governance, modeling, and hypothesis testing that is scientifically rigorous.
* Implement standard process for operationalizing insights and discoveries and then partner with DWP teammates and other stakeholders throughout the process and the organization to ensure adoption and value to the organization.
* Identify and empower evangelists to create a data-driven culture throughout the DWP Adoption Network.
* Develop a standard metric set to provide on-demand, OU and Function-specific reporting.
* Move rapidly from providing standard reports to providing analytics to drive insights and interventions.
* Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure evolving the data and analytic needs of the various departments, leaders, and teams are met.
* Communicate with employees at all levels to explain approaches and results, raise awareness of the linkages between DWP adoption and business results, and build a curious culture.
* Develop the Digital Champion community to have proficiency with self-serve reports, basic trend analysis, and action planning to free the central team for more advanced analytics.
Education Requirements:
* BA/BS; minimum 7 years related experience in a manager or director role
* MBA or Social Science masters or similar
Related Work Experience:
* Solid experience working with data and analytics for Digital Workplace or Workforce
* Technology implementation and change management experience
* Demonstrated ability to align technology to improve business performance
* Experience with Microsoft Graph and cloud-based analytics software
* Relevant experience with intranet data analytics
Functional Skills:
* Expertise with customer relationship management, stakeholder management; executive communications; and navigating a matrixed organization
* Experience and familiarity with associate facing digital experiences (i.e., Collaboration Tools, Productivity Tools, Video Conferencing, File Management)
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-pace environment with fluctuating and conflicting priorities and deadlines
* Experience with managing portfolio budgets at a large scale
* Ability to efficiently manage tasks and time
* Strong analytical skills
* Strong relationship building skills with a customer service focus
* Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills
