CHS has an exciting opportunity at our Sunflower plant in Fargo, ND. We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to assist in the daily operations of the plant. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, work well in a team environment, and be self-motivated.
You will:
* Promptly load customer orders on trucks, vans, containers, and railcars, and ensure orders are accurately loaded in clean vehicles.
* Maintain all food products in accordance with food safety requirements.
* Operate forklift or other powered industrial truck according to company policy.
* Maintain an accurate physical count and properly inventory off-loaded ingredients, empty packaging material, and supplies. Accurately complete inbound tickets.
* Ensure empty bags and pallets are positioned near bagging lines and finished product is moved to warehouse in a timely basis.
* Assist Supervisor in daily inventory tasks.
* Make certain the assigned sanitation schedule is thoroughly completed in a timely manner.
* Observe all safety and work rules as well as practice GMPs set by Company policy.
* Record all daily production accurately on the production sheets.
* Perform other jobs assigned by plant leadership.
* Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Basic Qualifications: (required)
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 1 year of warehouse experience
Preferred Qualifications: (desired)
* Experience in a food packaging facility
* Understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMP) to achieve food safety requirements
