Northrop Grumman Space Systems isseeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join the System Test Team. Thisposition will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learnmore about the GBSD program here.
What Youll Get To Do:
The qualified candidate will report to the TestInstrumentation Mechanical Design Integration lead and is responsible forartifact development for all test interfaces. Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:
Requirements development and Interfacemanagement for all internal and external interfaces
Interface requirements including physical,electrical, and logical attributes both internal and external interfaces of themissile
System Design/System architecture developmentfor missile systems including Systems Analysis, Trades, Design Verification,and Modeling amp; Simulation of complex, dynamic systems.
Ownership and upkeep of the Test drawing treeand modeling tree

Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
5 years ofmechanical engineering experience with Bachelors in a STEM related field; 3Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD
A current active DoDSecret Clearance
Knowledge of designintegration principles
Working knowledge ofsystems engineering principles and processes
Strong CAD and PLMexperience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CPLMprocess (Team Center). Creating PDP packages and going through the lifecycle ofthe release process.
Experience withSiemens NX and CPLM
Experience withclean-sheet new design.
The ability toobtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance in reasonable time to support business needs.
