Job Description

Provide technical leadership to a multi-disciplined design team

Lead the development of motor controls and inverter derating functions for inverter in electric and hybrid vehicle applications.

Support product development work products such as software requirements documentation in order to develop & document software requirements

Establish traceability between product verification and requirements

Work with controls and inverter systems team to integrate and support motor controls and derating algorithms in applicaton.

Support dynamometer, HIL, PHiL and motor simulation bench testing for algorithm development and verification.

Perform simulation of inverter control and derating algorithm and inverter systems models in order to develop and adapt various derating algorithms.

Analyze inverter power loss through test and modeling.

Integrate electric machine parameterization and controls..

Communicate project technical status internally and externally

Some travel and a flexible work schedule on occasion

Education: MSEE with Power Electronics focus
