Socio-Cultural Analyst, Mid
Key Role:
Design, develop, and execute research in a particular specialty, including foreign languages, science, or technology fields in support of intelligence organizations, missions, or processes. Apply specific functional and general industry knowledge. Acquire, validate, maintain, and scope data to uncover patterns that provide historical conclusions as well as model future events and correlations. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Develop and deliver written, verbal, and briefings based on research and analysis to relay findings and conclusions to decision makers and collaborate to share knowledge. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of junior employees.
Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with regional pol-mil analysis, publicly available information research, research design, and methodology development
-Knowledge of the Pacific Rim region
-Ability to show proficiency in an Eastern Asian language, including Listening, Reading, and Speaking score of 2+ or 3 in the DLPT, ILR, or ACTFL Advanced-Plus or Superior
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree in International Relations, Political Science, or Regional Studies
