Java Developer

This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Using the software development life cycle, youll build and implement highly performing and highly scalable J2EE applications that integrate with Business Rules Engine and Analytics tools. Youll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution youre developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

-2+ years of experience with writing Java and J2EE code and integration expertise

-Experience with Java J2EE and JEE design and software development, including designing, programming, and documenting large-scale software systems

-Experience with Java and Java Frameworks, including Spring or JMS

-Experience with object-oriented design and development principles and Java Application Servers, including JBoss, WebLogic, or Apache Tomcat and relational databases, including Oracle, Postgress, or DB2

-Experience with various development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Iterative, or Waterfall

-Experience with the integration of Java, RDBMS, and Big Data technologies, including Greenplum, Hadoop, or Spark

-Experience with Rules Engine and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) design and development

-Experience with business-to-business information exchange using various message formats and message queues

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with Rules Engines, ETL, Informatica PowerCenter, Business Objects, Columnar Databases, including Vertica, Apache Parquet, Teradata, or Greenplum

-Experience with shell scripting and database platforms, including DB2, Oracle, SQL, Python, R, and UNIX scripts
