Intelligent Automation Operational Enablement Analyst

The Global Commercial Services Center of Excellence is responsible for identifying and delivering results on high impact initiatives leveraging intelligent automation and other advanced technologies across GCS to drive efficiency and effectiveness. You will work with AXP and 3rd party tools, such as iOCR, DocuSign, Systran Language Translation, and assist in Proof of Concepts with emerging tools. We are looking for someone who is passionate about transforming GCS using new and emerging technologies and solving difficult business problems.

The Intelligent Automation Operational Enablement Analyst will be a key resource within the GCS Process Automation CoE and will collaborate with business stakeholders to advise, define and deliver solutions to our business process owners. They will identify, evaluate and manage the use of automation tools and integrated capabilities across the GCS landscape under the direction of the Automation Strategist.

Responsibilities:

* Manage operational deployment and use of automation tools, including:
* Supervise and use tools in production (DocuSign, HyperScience, Systran, Contract Intelligence)
* Monitor metrics and identify improvements
* Develop training materials
* Conduct Quality Assurance exercises
* Work with vendors to optimize capabilities and new releases
* Collaborate with automation strategists and business solution manager to understand and prioritize customer needs to ensure that the right kind of tools are being considered
* Identify and assess new tools to determine fit and make recommendations on integration and operational enablement
* Understand business objectives, convert them to automation tool requirements & technical needs and get them implemented
* Drive small and medium sized automation initiatives
* Partner with AMEXs enterprise automation COE to build new & innovative automation tools by leveraging enterprise tools, processes and expertise
* Participate in Center of Intelligent Automation meetings and communicate with peers, architects, & others as required
* Manage relationships between Business, Technology and vendors to ensure service levels are monitored and followed
* Coordinate key system integrations, testing, and production releases.

Minimum Qualifications

* Well versed with data analysis and identifying pressing business issues from data.
* Strong experience in driving digital transformation or business process transformation
* Strong ability to drive prioritization of initiatives
* Strong collaboration skills while working with SME's, senior leaders, PMOs, and business users/ stakeholders.
* Strong problem solving skills and ability to follow through to resolve issues
* Experience with data-driven business analysis, process improvement and/or value stream mapping
* Ability to independently analyze, conceptualize and prototype solutions
* Strong critical thinking and analytical skills and able to drive resolution in ambiguous situations
* Strong business judgment, executive communication/presentation skills, and persistent attention to detail
* Strong Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to adopt a broad perspective and analyze tools to link information that supports business strategies to specific initiatives. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Self-starter and high level of accountability and able to solve ambiguous/ open ended business challenges
* Lead with an external perspective, challenge status quo and bring continuous innovation to our existing offerings to deliver the best customer experiences
* Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work well under pressure
* Strong business and technical acumen to converse easily with stakeholders, partners, vendors and technologists
* Experience with software testing a plus
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Highly organized and detail oriented
* Can-do attitude and a passion for learning existing and emerging technologies
* Bachelors Degree preferred
