Job Description
Most of our new production operators begin their employment in the Smelter Potroom, although we may have other production positions available. All of our production positions require the use of equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and shipping our products. While the exact duties may vary based on the area hired into, a production operator may be expected to handle heavy machinery such as forklifts, cranes, etc., as well as performing specialized tasks. Most importantly, a production operator must adhere to safety guidelines.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED is required. A RESUME AND HIGH SCHOOL/GED DIPLOMA MUST BE UPLOADED TO THIS APPLICATION. Must be able to perform physically demanding work activities under high temperature conditions. Candidates must successfully pass a skills aptitude, physical, drug test and background check.
Additional Information
WORK HOURS/ENVIRONMENT: You must be willing and able to work rotating shifts and continuous schedules. Mandatory overtime may also be required. Typical work environment involves primarily indoor work with exposure to hot and cold weather and extreme non-weather related heat is frequent.
