Primary Purpose:

As part of our digital transformation, we are seeking a Senior Software Developer Testing to join our team. This role designs, builds, tests, deploys, and supports products, platforms, and solutions with a focus on test automation. They work collaboratively with Software Developers, Architects, and Analysts to develop the physical design and build testing solutions that meet the defined functional, quality, performance, security, and architectural standards. They advise on and address escalated support issues. They guide and advise maintenance, configuration changes, continuous improvements, and deployment. They work with Product Managers by providing input into planning and execution of product roadmaps and backlog priorities. They consult with Analysts to understand business requirements and to obtain input/insights through reports and research on key problems.

The Senior Software Developer Testing is primarily responsible for creating and implementing a variety of automated testing solutions: building, testing, and deploying code; configuring systems; resolving defects; confirming compliance with security, performance and related standards; providing technical support; and delivering recommendations to improve systems. The Senior Software Developer Testing uses the latest methods, tools, and principles (e.g. Kanban and Agile) to continuously deliver a value stream to the customers and businesses they serve. They understand how to leverage modern architectural components to design modular, flexible solutions. They highly value reuse of existing assets and, where appropriate, commercially available components and products. They design and build for safety, resilience, and reliability.

Key Deliverables:

* Develops reusable, automated functional test scripts utilizing Selenium, SOAP UI, J-Unit, and other automated testing technologies
* Functional testing
* Regression testing
* Performance and load testing
* Website monitoring
* Manual testing
* Defect management
* Maintaining and sharing QA metrics
* Developing test plans/strategy
* Preparing data for testing
* Participates in required daily standup-ups and sprint ceremonies

Education/Experience/Training:

* Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, another relevant field or demonstrated work experience equivalent
* 5 8 years automated test development experience
* Masters degree a plus

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

* Selenium, Katalon, SOAP UI, and JUnit for test scripting and execution
* Performance testing experience
* Load testing experience
* Experience performing automated testing with AWS (using CodeBuild/CodePipeline) preferred
* Jira for backlog, task, test, and defect management
* Zephyr for test execution
* GitHub, Bitbucket, etc. for source control
* Informatica Cloud for batch integration
* Jenkins and Apache ANT for automated build and continuous integration
* MuleSoft for real-time integration
* ServiceNow for service management
* Confluence for process documentation and documentation review
* Test data management solutions as needed
* Demonstrated willingness and capability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly
* Experience assisting development teams using Test-Driven Development
