Role Summary:
The Diversity & Inclusion Program Lead Sourcer will orchestrate recruiting-focused programs to attract, recruit and excite candidates from all backgrounds. This role will play a critical and visible part in developing unique, targeted sourcing strategies, as well as enabling the talent team to successfully tap diverse candidate pools. The incumbent will advise and lend their expertise in addressing challenges that hinder the progress of attracting, assessing, and hiring diverse candidates for open positions through influence and inspiration. This position will report to the Talent Acquisition Diversity Leader, collaborate with internal and external partners, and introduce effective practices to support our aspirational staffing goals while elevating our T. Rowe Price workplace through change agent leadership.
The role requires in-depth knowledge and experience in diversity recruiting practices and a dedication to identifying and executing differentiating tactics and strategies. The person is expected to be a positive relationship manager and outstanding communicator that can lead sophisticated projects with a variety of partners, both internally and externally. Highlights of the role include:
* Research and recommend partnerships, events, and tools that deliver impact and support our Diversity & Inclusion strategies, specifically targeting diverse audiences.
* Candidate referral follow-up from Workday, Business Resource Groups, and event/program participation leads through shared partnership with the Talent team
* Develop solid relationships across the partner landscape including HR Business Partners, Compensation, hiring managers, and business leaders
* Track metrics and strategy progress for assigned business units
* Build candidate pipelines for both unique and evergreen roles to support diverse representation at all stages of the hiring process
* Builds and maintains candidate pools and relationships with qualified diverse candidates through frequent contact and notifications of positions via telephone calls, social media, and participation in recruiting events
* You'll play a leading role in how we develop new diverse sourcing workflows and processes to support our entire business, from tech to sales.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and 5+ years of total relevant work experience.
Preferred:
* 5+ years of recruiting experience
* Investment Management, Management Consulting or Financial Services experience is desirable
* The ability to think strategically and gain support for ideas and initiatives
* Ability to prioritize as needed while handling multiple time-sensitive projects in a very fast-paced environment
* Strong organizational skills, work ethic, initiative, and attention to detail
* Strong technical skills, including considerable experience using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Effective writing and oral presentation skills
* Great teammate with flexibility to accommodate different personalities and work styles as well as confidence to lead interactions and expectations at all levels of the organization
* Commitment to excellent candidate experience and candidate care
* Flexibility for travel and to work evening hours and some weekends
* Program management experience leading multiple programs from start to finish with a particular focus in D&I event programming
* Boolean sourcing expertise
* Proficiency with ATS, CRM and other related platforms (Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter highly preferred)
* Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
