Manager, Business Development, Google

You will train, coach and mentor associates promoting the business unit’s strategic direction, setting measurable targets and driving the day-to-day execution of our Google Cloud Enterprise business unit.  Vendor, customer recruitment, program negotiation, market strategy and marketing program development will be keys to success in this role.  You will manage a team of Google Cloud Enterprise professionals as well as a portfolio of existing partners and will need to demonstrate skills in interfacing with key personnel throughout the organization. You will be responsible for increasing revenue and profitability of the Google Cloud Enterprise as well as seizing market share from all Google Cloud competitors.

Directly and indirectly manage a team of sales and business development professionals.
Have knowledge of market trends for Google Cloud product categories and demonstrate competence on Google Cloud products.
Attend Google Cloud events/conferences as appropriate.
Responsible for driving and increasing overall Google Cloud revenue, market-share and reseller breadth.
Understand Google Cloud products and SYNNEX Company vision & mission; strive to exceed expectations with every partner, every day and to maximize shareholder value.
Weekly sync with the Google Cloud team to provide ideas, feedback, pipeline/opportunity review and insights into the market.
Monthly/Quarterly review with manager and Google team to ensure goals are being completed & next month’s/quarter’s goals are prepared and assigned.
Develop and maintain strong executive and field engagement relationships with partners and Google Cloud.
Develop a viable quarterly and annual business plan to accomplish business unit goals and objectives.
Create, implement and manage strategic initiatives with key partners and Google Cloud.
Foster, promote and strengthen relationships across multiple groups and teams (sales, marketing, finance, tech, etc.) throughout SYNNEX.
Coordinate and interface with key managers and executives throughout SYNNEX.
Interface regularly with internal leadership to communicate goals and objectives thoroughly.
Assess and evaluate competition from other distributors, other market participants, and external markets – as well as between Google Cloud and partners.

Your passion is sparked by:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

8 years of related sales or business development experience (with a minimum of 3-5 in a leadership role).

Prior Google Cloud experience and working with IT channels is highly desirable.

Expert business communications skills including, but not limited to preparing reports, speaking before groups of people, and negotiation tactics needed.
