Job Description

The CHIE (Cloud Hardware Infrastructure and Engineering) team in the C+AI (Cloud and AI) division is responsible for development engineering and live site support for all server and storage infrastructure deployed across Microsoft's global fleet of data centers hosting our cloud services such as Azure, Bing, O365, Xbox and more.

This Principal PM lead role leading the CHIE Platform Technologies PM Team will play a pivotal role in hardware and software development and delivery for key technologies that significantly impact the performance and operational efficiency of our major cloud services. This candidate will collaborate with both internal Microsoft teams and external suppliers (OEMs/ODMs, CPU, FPGA, memory and others) to drive delivery of core technologies that enable our server and storage hardware infrastructure. * 10+ years of technical program management or project management experience or a technical role with systems engineeringu202Fexperienceu202F
* 10+ years of experience in managing a team of engineering and/or technical operations professionals responsible for critical systems and operations for a distributed organization.
* Project experience working across hardware and low-level (driver, firmware, kernel mode) softwareu202Fteamsu202F
