Microsoft Ads is the economic engine driving monetization of search & consumer services across Microsoft and strategic partners. Without advertising, retailers, manufacturers, and service providers would have no way to reach their potential consumers and the world as we know it would not exist. Within advertising, digital media now surpasses all other forms of advertising.

Network Protection team is at the heart of this multi-billion-dollar business and is responsible for protecting Microsoft Ads products from invalid traffic and ad fraud. We use AI/ML to deal with ever-changing online fraud activities and work with data at the scale that few companies on this planet do. We define, build, and deploy sophisticated algorithms that flag and remove suspicious activities from our network in a timely manner.

We are looking for an experienced program/product manager to drive success and progress in this area.

As a Senior PM in this team, you are expected to:

* Own and articulate the strategy and roadmap for Network Protection.
* Dive deep into data to help inform product roadmap changes and identify new opportunities.
* Understand and articulate needs of publishers and advertisers; serve as their advocate.
* Lead our team's engagement with external and internal auditors.
* Deal with ambiguity and drive clarity across teams.
* Collaborate across org boundaries and disciplines such as Sales, Support, Marketing, Business Development, Legal, and other engineering teams.
* Drive GTM efforts with marketing and sales teams.

Required Qualifications:

* 6+ years of experience working as a Program/Product Manager, Data Scientist or Software Engineer
* 1+ years of experience working with large scale data
* Data-driven: History of creative, analytical and critical thinking related to working with large scale data
* Entrepreneurial spirit: Self-starter, problem solver with a can-do attitude
* Collaborator: Ability to work effectively with a large number of partners and customers
* Customer empathy: Ability to write simple, clear scenarios, problem statements, requirements and specifications based on customer needs
* Ability to independently anticipate and identify complex problems.
* Ability to influence product and process transformation across organizational boundaries.
* Critical thinking & creative problem solving, i.e. not take things at face value and provide thoughtful solutions.
* Evangelized and generate excitement around work.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior experience with statical analysis
* Prior experience with online fraud and invalid traffic detection/ filtration
* Familiarity with online advertising industry, particularly knowledge of MRC / IAB standards.
* Hands-on: Ability to write scripts, do prototypes and analysis, strong familiarity with data technologies such as SQL, Azure Data Lake, Excel, PowerBI is a big plus
* Machine Learning: Ability to work closely with machine learning scientists, researchers, and software engineers to build effective product solution
