Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
The Valley Health System (VHS) is a major healthcare provider in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is an affiliate of Universal Health Services (UHS), which is one of the largest behavioral health care providers in the nation. As part of the team, you will be a part of a large successful healthcare institution, which has recently sponsored multiple residency training programs and is in the process starting an ACGME Consortium Program in Psychiatry.. This is primarily a clinical position with significant teaching responsibilities for medical students, residents, and fellows with the opportunity for research in an active teaching hospital environment. Teaching/Resident GME time will be protected time. Residents will begin August 2022 and the ideal candidate will start in August/September 2021.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
* Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
* Completion of a psychiatric, pediatric or adolescent residency program from an accredited medical school
* Board eligible in in appropriate specialty (board certified preferred).
* Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine background preferred.
* Completed and met clinical competency standards
