The position will have responsibility for product engineering, with a focus on developing the SLT (system level test) platform along with defining requirements, creating test plans, working with software, EE, and validation to create hardware/firmware/content.
The position will develop automations infrastructure including handler and thermal solutions, Correlations, and optimizations (power/performance) to ATE, SLT CharZ along with Soft Repair implementation, Diagnostics and maintenance utilities, procedures for debug and repair in production.
The position requires someone with experience in semiconductor IC development, specifically in ATE to bench, platform correlations.
The position also entails generating and leveraging correlation, characterization, and performance data to optimize outgoing quality and power/performance.
Candidate should have strong leadership skills to manage external vendors in a lab environment and interface closely with product, test, design engineers, and drive sub-project as part of larger development programs.
Candidate should have excellent knowledge of IC characterization and validation; Data analysis, report generation is an asset; Test case / benchmark selection, execution is an asset.
The candidate would benefit from background in various product market area such as high-performance compute, AI, GPUs, telecom.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience in product validation, characterization, optimization.
5+ years' Experience in Developing ICs (pre-silicon, first silicon bring-up, new product introduction).
2+ years' experience with system level test in validation and/or manufacturing testing environments in terms of data collection, analysis, correlations, and application selection/specification.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with system level test cases (SLT) definition/generation/selection/execution and data analysis.
Experience with performance (i.e., power management features, mode optimization, voltage margining/checking) applications on SLT.
Good software skills, especially in scripting languages.
Experience in AI, machine learning, digital neural networks would be an asset.
Experience in data collection automation would be an asset.
Probability and statistics background including DOE's would be an asset.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
