To fulfill this mission, we are looking for a Sustainability Project Manager that will lead some of the efforts in the Devices Business Group to coordinate and manage projects across the organization supporting sustainability, to achieve our goals for Carbon, Waste, Water and Ecosystem. Be a champion for sustainability and keenly understand the way the Devices can accelerate sustainability goals and outcomes.

This role will report to the Director of the Devices Supply Chain Strategy and Sustainability.

Key areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

* Manage Roadmaps for the four sustainability areas (Carbon, Waste, Water and Ecosystem) across the Devices Organization to achieve sustainability goals. Work with multidisciplinary project teams to align project milestones, schedules, cost, and metrics to deliver a sustainability roadmap for each goal.
* Frame & coordinate sustainability roadmap to provide messaging to the Leadership Team, Devices organization and to customers on our sustainability efforts.
* Plans the project roadmap & goals, ensuring all requirements are met.
* Manage roadmap milestones to deliver on time and on budget to the assigned projects within the sustainability roadmap along with expected return on investment. Integrates into product development deliverables, business and financial reviews.
* Coordinate and team up with overall Microsoft Sustainability teams to ensure Devices sustainability efforts are aligned for relevant scope.
* Membership of the Culture of Learning for Sustainability, leading content for specific scope
* Identifies improvement opportunities and analyzes them for efficiency (waste, complexity, cost), effectiveness (achieves desired outcome), and qualityu202Fand makes recommendations for solutions and improvements.
* Identifies roadblocks and demonstrates the ability to provide recommendations for practical solutions.u202Fu202F
* Bring thought leadership by assessing the industry and the broader business environment to account for customer preferences, industry trends, market conditions, and business needs.
* Motivate and influence a global team across several disciplines

Minimum Qualifications:

* Strong project and program management skillset and experience
* Experience managing sustainability projects a plus
* Set an example and represent the Microsoft Values and the One Microsoft culture.
* 5+ years experience in Tech, Hardware or Consumer Product Development or Supply Chain
* Experience leading business, sustainability and/or supply chain projects with multiple points of view and inputs
* Proven experience in leading and implementing transformation projects
* Bachelors required, MBA or Masters desired
