Lockheed Martin's Santa Barbara Focalplane business is seeking an experienced integrated circuit department manager to provide direction and leadership to our world-class team to help advance the state-of-the art in infrared and visible imager read-out integrated circuits (ROICs).

This lead role will include working with Lockheed management to develop strategic direction for technology development, as well as team and project management. Significant experience with all phases of mixed signal VLSI CMOS transistor level , proven project and personnel management experience, manpower planning, presentation preparation and delivery, budget and schedule generation, and proposal preparation is required.

The ideal candidate is a recognized leader in IC and is able to direct, lead, and inspire an expanding team.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with at least 10 years of professional experience.

Mixed signal VLSI CMOS transistor level .

Ability to obtain a secret security clearance so must be a U.S. Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Experience with system engineering, test engineering, and advanced ROIC/FPA concept development is desired.

Proficient with Cadence Systems IC tools (layout, LVS, DRC, Schematic, digital analog simulations, HDL & synthesis). MATLAB programming.

Familiarity with BiCMOS a plus.
