As a Technical Cloud Manager for Insight, you will enter a high-energy and tech-savvy world. Please note this is a hands-on, technical position that requires both technical skills and people management skills.
In this role you will be building and leading a public cloud team to support Azure CSP clients. This person has Azure operational experience and can lead our delivery and offering as it matures over time.
As an Insight Technical Cloud Manager, you can expect to:
* Multitask. Lead delivery, sales, development and implementation of technology solutions for clients. Be an influential innovator with industry presence and deep experience in the Professional Services space to increase Insight market share.
* Take ownership. You will help build and grow our Managed Services offerings, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will also manage risk, client satisfaction, communication plans, change management, financial performance.
* Be a leader. Motivate your team to find successful solutions. You will be providing guidance to your team for successful client engagement and delivery. In addition, grow market share through strategic efforts on an industry level.
* Be a team player. As someone who is well versed in the technical aspects of Cloud, youll roll up your sleeves to assist the very team you lead on working technical cases.
* Be challenged. Be a persuasive SME/Win Strategist with deep knowledge and sales enablement qualities within our Services Division. Youll lead the pursuit of large deals with a consultative approach that can develop a very compelling win strategy to qualified deals.
What were looking for:
* Proven experience leading and developing sales and delivery teams and strategies to gain market share of IT Professional Services offerings.
* Experience leading a Managed Services Team delivering operational support 24x7 as well as helping develop our offering, client adoption of the Azure cloud etc.
* Heavy Azure operational experience. AWS a strong plus.
* Lead the development and enhancement of processes associated with Services SOWs, including collaboration with Sales leadership, Service Operations and leadership, Legal, IT and Finance.
* Accountable for managing day-to-day operations of the team and is responsible for overall business administration duties (forecasting, operational efficiencies, reviews, etc.)
* Manage the assigned financial aspects of the team, which may include subset ownership of the assigned P&L as well as associated budget.
* Demonstrate positive leadership to teammates and represents oneself as a positive stakeholder in all situations.
* Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and your competitors.
* Ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans.
