The Gilead Business Services center in Raleighs Research Triangle region will be home to some of the companys critical shared service teams in North America, including Information Technology, Global Financial Solutions, HR Operations and Procurement Services Desk. These functions provide the necessary support to ensure Gileads business runs effectively and efficiently. The center will also be a catalyst for standardization of processes, digital transformation and technology optimization.

The Devops Lead Finance Lead, SG&A IT will serve as the single point of accountability between the various Finance business capability leaders and the IT functions. They will be responsible for driving business innovation and value by bringing current knowledge and future vision, and IT together. This resource will work with business leaders to enable the business visions and strategy; they will define required capabilities for business processes and data management and ensure alignment with the solutions roadmap. The role will be responsible for developing the business case, documenting and verifying business and user requirements for technology solutions.

Responsible for performing the following functions:

* Understand, analyze, and confirm business needs.
* Engage the business to define a portfolio of solutions that meet business goals and objectives.
* Ensure alignment of business and IT strategy.
* Define and plan end-to-end programs, including service level agreements, performance reporting, and issues escalation.
* Partner with the business to develop the business case and business requirements for solutions.
* Lead large business technology initiatives.
* Supply and Demand Management
* Develop, maintain and operate IT services and capabilities to support IT solution delivery.
* Define and measure the IT service management process.
* Execution and Management of Enterprise Level Change Management Plans
* Oversight of Security, Privacy and Risk Assessment Action Plan.
* Plan and manage resources on a global capability basis to meet capacity and service level requirements.
* Perform other job-related duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Degree and Twelve Year's Experience OR Associates Degree and Ten Year's Experience OR Bachelor's Degree and Eight Years Experience OR Masters' Degree and Six Years Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
* Experience or formal training in Life Sciences is not required, but is preferred.
* Excellent business partnering and communication skills
* Ability to provide consultative advice and decision making
* Good project management, cross-functional team collaboration and vendor management skills
* Demonstrate solid track record of driving projects to successful outcomes
* Experience with managing SaaS vendors is required
* Prior experience with SOX, IT Security and legal compliance.
