What does a great EMV Chip Profile Analyst do?

You know that chip in your debit or credit card? Someone has to write the code that makes the chip function when it is inserted into the card reader at the register to make a purchase. We are looking for a highly collaborative technical person to fill a Chip Profile Analyst role. Do you enjoy gathering client requirements and analyzing technical specifications to create solutions? If so, this may be the role for you. The Chip Profile Analyst is an integral member of the Fiserv Client EMV Implementation team and works directly with our clients and vendors to implement chip technology. As a part of the EMV implementation team, you will consult with clients, gather requirements and apply industry specifications to develop, test and implement a chip profile that meets the client and industry requirements. You will also interface with the product owner, software vendor and output operations teams. Well help you learn the code required to build the chip profile to help meet our clients chip technology objectives.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Associates Degree in an Information Technology Discipline and 5 years of experience with analysis, coding and testing
Bachelors Degree in an Information Technology Discipline and 2 years of experience with analysis, coding and testing
Experience working directly with and providing consultation to clients throughout the lifecycle of a project
Experience working as part of a team on completion of medium to large scale projects
Must be either a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
Ability to identify data sources, functionality, and determine appropriate destination (data mapping)
Ability to view, translate, and understand raw data in ACSII, EBCIDIC, Hexadecimal, and Binary
Knowledge and experience in validating via 3270 screens
Knowledge of authorization messaging and transaction flow
Understanding of EMV processing, plastic and chip technology
Experience with the Entrust Data Card or Idemia (Oberthur) chip personalization platforms
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Proven experience in successfully communicating complex technical specifications to clients and implementation teams
Proven success in delivering projects within budget and specified timeframes, while ensuring customer satisfaction
Proven problem solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection
Ability to identify alternatives and make contingency plan
Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities
Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments.

Who We Are:

We are a highly collaborative team that works directly with Fiserv Issuing clients to implement EMV Chip solutions. The EMV Implementation team includes Implementation Analysts and Chip Profile Developers. Implementation Analysts help guide the client from requirements to system set up to testing and implementation. The Chip Profile Analyst provides technical consulting with the clients and implementation analyst in regards to the chip products, reviews industry specifications and client requirements to develop the chip profile, and supports testing and implementation.
