Job Description
This position is responsible for reviewing and resolving MAC pricing inquiries from retail pharmacies (both MAC law states and non MAC law state) and ensuring compliance with various MAC law requirements. This includes accurately updating Pharmacy MAC Appeals Database and RxClaim adjudication system with appropriate information. It also includes running queries using SAS and ACCESS programs to produce QC reports, weekly MAC changes/retro notification reports, and Salesforce R&R; SW reports. This position is also responsible for maintaining various MAC email boxes and MAC telephone voice message box, and validating information from various sources such as Medispan, manufacturers, and wholesalers.
Required Qualifications
1+ years of professional work experience
1+ years MS Office experience
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience with Caremark business systems; QL/RxClaim adjudication platforms and PeopleSafe system.
2. Computer skills including MS Access, Excel, and ability to run SAS program.
3. Accurate data entry into Access tables.
4. Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to handle a busy workload.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Board Certified Pharmacy Technician License
Education
Verifiable High School diploma (GED) is required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
