Tyson Foods is looking for a Sr Programmer in their Information Technology organization to help our Poultry segment. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who enjoys helping solve complex problems using new technology.

Do I have the skills?

The ideal person will have a broad programming background and be capable of driving outcome based conversations at every level of the organization and work in multi-functional efforts to drive successful technology facilitation. They will need to be able to effectively code business requirements into new technology with strong communication skills between Architecture, Technical Analysts, and vendors. Its essential that this Sr. Programmer can work in a fast paced, high technology environment to deliver solutions that propel our poultry business forward. Requirements:

Education: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or an equivalent degree with experience equating to a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

Experience: 4+ year of industry experience in Information Systems

Computer Skills: Technical knowledge of relevant multi-user computer systems, applications, and/or equipment. Ability to develop and/or modify specifications, configurations, and programs to meet specified requirements. Solid understanding of various System Development Lifecycle Methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.) Knowledge of current technology developments and trends. Ability to drive complex problems to resolutions across multiple teams and resources. Advanced troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills:

* Python

* CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/Jenkins)

* Cloud experience ( GCP (preferred ),AWS)

* Docker/Kubernetes

* UI technologies(React preferred)

* SQL Skills

* Big Query, MySQL, PostgreSQL,

* Visualization tools (Power BI,Data Studio)



Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical team members. Ability to effectively communicate written and verbally with customers, peers, and management. Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.

Travel: Some travel may be required. Amount of travel will be determined by individual project requirements
