Bioproduction Division
How will you make an impact?
The Content Marketing Manager will demonstrate a thorough understanding of Bioproduction workflow in areas of QC microbiology, process analytics, downstream purification, and/or chromatography. Knowledge of the competitive landscape and critical customer or regulatory requirements for the pharmaceutical industry is expected.
What will you do?
This position will provide technical leadership in the generation and management of content supporting both external and internal marketing and training requirements, and works closely with global and regional market development, product management, and research and applications teams. The successful candidate in this role will build a strong portfolio of technical content aligned with strategic business needs. This role will act as technical voice of the business, developing external content for customer facing channels, as well as internal content for sales enablement.
Technical content generation and management
* Align with market development and product management on key messaging and product positioning to develop technical collateral required to support strategic business needs. Work with (internal and external) agency partners to deliver and re-enforce key messaging.
* Work with subject matter experts to create compelling technical content including web content, digital tactics (email, social), collateral, and presentations. Manage content libraries and channels.
* Partner with global and regional market development teams to develop training program and materials for both virtual and in-person training for commercial and field applications teams and act as lead in execution of technical training programs globally.
* Generate technical content for key events and, potentially, present technical presentations or posters.
How will you get here?
* Bachelor2019s degree, preferably in a life science scientific field. An advanced degree in business or science is preferred.
* ~5 years in the life science or bioprocessing industry
* Background in analytical methods and/or downstream purification preferred
* ~2 years marketing or related role preferred
* Understanding of protein biology and/or molecular biology
* Demonstrated ability to work in a global matrix environment
* Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to effectively communicate value propositions and technical information to customers and internal audiences.
