How will you make an impact?
Provide direct support to Operations associates within the High Performance Laboratory & Refrigerator production line in managing the workforce to meet production goals and requirements in a safe, compliant, and cost effective manner.
What will you do?
* With support of the Sr. Manager, directly lead and manage employees, including performance management, development, communications, and disciplinary actions (as required)
* Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, developing, coaching, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Establish a work environment that encourages open and honest two-way dialogue, mutual trust and respect, teamwork, and personal accountability
* Write, develop, implement and train employees on department SOPs. 202FEnsure team members understand and adhere to all relevant GMP requirements
* Administer, document and maintain the Thermo Fisher Scientific Quality Systems conformance to regulatory requirements and company policies where appropriate through effective utilization of Thermo Fisher Scientific's Quality Systems and tools, as well as direct actions
* Active engagement and participation in PPI actvities within Operations and assist with implementation

How will you get here?
Education:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or similar (Preferred)
Experience:
* 4+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
Equivalency:
* Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered
