Provide Support to drug discovery and early clinical development efforts within the Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism and Elimination (ADME) group of our company's Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics and Drug Metabolism (PPDM) department. Develop, execute, and foster Translational Pharmacokinetic Pharmacodynamic (TPKPD) and other useful quantitative pharmacology applications on program teams in a discovery setting. Use mathematical modeling to support/inform/design Quantitative Pharmacology strategy and studies to support drug discovery efforts aimed at finding safe and effective drugs to treat unmet medical needs. Collaborate with Biology, Pharmacology departments to understand the in-vitro and in-vivo experiments used for screening and identifying promising compounds in the drug discovery. Assist drug discovery teams to identify liabilities related to drug metabolism in the compounds. Serve on multi-disciplinary teams to provide expertise, guidance and hands-on support for application of quantitative pharmacology sciences to address key questions and issues. Present analyses to governance committees as well as prepare documentation for regulatory submissions.

Education:

* Must have a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

* Must have one (1) year experience in pharmaceutical research on drug metabolism.

Skills required:

* mathematical modelling software such as Matlab-SimBiology, Phoenix WinNonlin, and SimCyp; and statistical data analysis tools such as GraphPad Prism and R. Publications in peer-reviewed Pharmaceutical Research/Pharmaceutical Sciences journals are desirable.

* 40 hours/week-9:00am to 5:00pm.

* Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
