This position is located in Dallas, Texas and is responsible performing Master Scheduling tasks in support of programs executed within the Advanced Product Center for RSS Program.
Major responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Assess supply resources and aggregate and prioritize demand requirements
* Translate production plans into a time-phased build schedules
* Assess production plans for feasibility through the use of MRP scenarios
* Generate and maintain material masters
* Generate and maintain manufacturing bills of material
* Perform material lead time analyses
* Perform related PRISM transactions
* Maintain MRP need date integrity
* Coordinate and drive program execution readiness
* Communicate program issues with integrated business planners
* Actively participate in activities to support MRP health

The job requires clear and effective communication skills that will be utilized to address scheduling issues and drive cross-functional programs teams towards to meet cost and schedule commitments to our external customers. This position requires a highly motivated self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives in a demanding environment. The individual selected to fill this role will need to be able to interface effectively with all levels of management in an IPT environment.
* Required Skills:
* 6+ years of related experience
* Experience using MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred)
* Understand how to work with a manufacturing bill of materials
* Ability to perform lead time analyses
* Ability to schedule demand based on product mix and understand trade-offs at a program level and a product line level
* Ability to utilize master scheduling methodologies and tools with some guidance
* Ability to mediate discussions between stakeholders with varying incentives and arrive at consensus
* Ability to understand and drive critical functional metrics
