Vistar operates more than 20 distribution centers and 11 Merchants Marts throughout the country. Job Description Interacts with customers via telephone or email to assist with a variety of customer inquiries and issues in a centralized customer service environment. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and issues are resolved and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include:

* Ability to troubleshoot account problems and resolve other general inquiries over the phone to maximize the customer experience
* Demonstrates functional skill in communicating via email basic account information to the customer
* Process customer orders and issue credits accurately and in a timely manner
* Perform administrative responsibilities such as checking faxes and email on a daily basis, writing sample order requests and special orders when necessary
* Works independently and escalates issues as appropriate
* Regular and consistent punctual attendance is required. Must be available to work Monday Friday, with shifts ranging from 7:00 am start to 5:00 pm finish
* Perform other related duties as assigned

LI-AR1 Required Qualifications High School Diploma/Equivalent
0-6+ months of customer service, call center, or related experience Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of customer service/related experience
