The Supply Chain Analyst plays very significant role within the Supply chain organization here at Qualcomm. As the command center of all the supply issues, the candidate will have complete oversight into the end-to-end planning for a group of discreet products or entire chipset. He/She will have full accountability and will be the go-to person for all supply related topics for their products.

The candidate will have to work closely with several cross-functional teams (e.g., Asia Operations, Sourcing, Engineering, forecasting teams, Capacity planning, foundry planning etc.) to ensure customer demand can be satisfied in a timely manner.

The following are some key responsibilities for this role:

* Plan, schedule, and monitor material through the production cycle.

* Work with manufacturing teams, sourcing, Eng, operations team in proactively identifying and resolving different supply constraints. Coordinate all these issues and groups and drive continuous improvements to resolve these constraints.

* Monitor changes to yields, cycle time, capacity, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure there is minimal customer impact.

* Partner with NPI Planning, Program Mgt, BU, Eng, operations team for New Product ramps to ensure all supply issues (risk starts, capacity, HW/testers, qualification, down-selection) are being addressed to enable smooth transition to Production.

* Run different supply scenarios by taking into consideration fab capacity, substrate/material availability, HW and test capacity. Partner with cross-functional teams in evaluating upside opportunities.

* Manage customer expectations through the close communication and collaboration with the Business units, Customer service teams, and customer sales teams.

* Manage the demand signal plan by utilizing the Demand Plan, regional supply line allocation and demand metrics.

* Responsible for meeting end-2-end supply commitments per forecast and sales orders.

* Monitor changing customer requirements and work with cross- functional teams to evaluate our ability to support the customer in timely manner.

* Prepare ad hoc reports to management on critical parts, risk mitigation plans, and key product launch plans (i.e., customer attach rates, supply vs. forecasted demand percentages and supply vs. orders placed percentages).

* Prepare and present health of product status to business unit/executive management.

* Ability to recognize process gaps and drive improvements holistically across cross functional teams.

* Assists in development of automated supply chain solutions (rapid response improvement, tableau reporting). Assists with the creation of quarterly ship estimate metrics of customer pushout and cancelation requests. Participate in the strategic planning, development, integration, and implementation of technology applications to support global planning processes.

* Execute the companys supply chain model using data and analytics around inventory, cost saving opportunities, lead times, & operational team needs.



Minimum Requirements:

* 5 yrs experience within Product Planning, Supply Chain or Business Operations.

* Experience working in a manufacturing/operations environment (a

* Semiconductor manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

* Experience working with ERP tools/Supply planning tools (Rapid Response, Oracle)

* Proficient in Excel (ability to create reports/scenarios for management review)

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize in fast paced environment.



Education Requirements

* Bachelors and 5-7 years experience; or a Masters degree and 3-5 years experience in Product Planning, Supply Chain or Business Operations.
