Job function:
To join Qualcomm Customer Engineering team and work with world leading mobile/Compute/IoT device makers from design & develop to commercially launch exciting new Qualcomm SoC products.
These Customer Engineers are expected to:
-To Understand every aspects of customers' requirements and designs on data applications
-To communicate with internal product & development teams on any HW/SW design related issues/features from customer designs
-To work with customers in resolving any product feature development and product commercialization issues.
Skills/experience:
-Strong experience in C/C++ programing, system knowledge or related background on modem
-Strong software debugging skill on embedded real time operating systems.
-Strong knowledge of networking, such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, DNS, NAT, IP route, etc.
-Have experience with networking debugging tools, such as wireshark.
-Familiar with 3GPP 5G or 4G protocol specification on data plane.
-Familiar with Qualcomm data application/driver in Linux/Windows, such as RMNET and NETMGR, is a plus.
-Familiar with ARM-based assembly language and operating system concept is a plus
-Familiar with Trace32 JTAG debugger is a plus
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, high motivation, the ability to learn quickly and must be a self-starter.
Responsibilities:
-Interface with device makers, base-station partners and wireless carrier worldwide.
-Provide training to customer
-Assisting customer with non-POR software design
-Integration, development, system debugging on OEM design.
-Handling customer Q&A, and work closely with internal developers.
-Support issue debugging with internal conformance lab.
Education requirements:
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
