Program Manager, Developer Platform Investigations Ops

Every day, people come to Facebook to connect with friends and family, discover what's going on in the world, interact with businesses, find potential customers, and build community. Facebooks Global Operations team exists to help them. The Developer Operations team ensures that applications integrated with our platforms are high-quality and trustworthy. Working closely with other Facebook teams, we investigate and detect apps not compliant with our Platform Policies. Depending on the nature of the violation and the best user experience, we may take a variety of actions; everything from helping the developer/publisher fix the problem, to permanently removing the developer/publisher and application from our platform. We are committed to improve the platform experience for users, publishers and developers through the use of automated detection tools, strategic manual review, data analysis, guidance, and coordination with product teams. A successful candidate for this role will be able to lead cross-functional projects, develop creative compliance and process solutions, communicate effectively with both internal and external audiences, and align on appropriate outcomes with multiple global Facebook teams.

Program Manager, Developer Platform Investigations Ops Responsibilities

* Own the creation, maintenance, improvement, tracking, and documentation of processes and trainings related to onboarding new products/APIs to our teams workstreams

* Complete tasks in support of internal and external audits

* Ensure the standardization of workflows and processes across the Developer Platform Investigations Ops team, to foster a collaborative community, ensure timely close-out of open investigations, and solve problems at scale

* Develop strong knowledge of our platform policies, our mechanisms for detecting violations, the guidance we provide developers, and the range of enforcement actions we take

* Work closely with Facebook teams including legal, policy, product, and engineering

* Regularly communicate key information on your work to relevant stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience in product/program management, investigations, operations, or related field

* Experience managing, influencing, and driving strategic solution development across cross-functional teams

* Experience operating effectively and autonomously in situations of ambiguity, with moderate guidance

* Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences as well as colleagues at all levels of the organization (including senior leadership)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a fast-paced startup/tech company environment

* Understanding of relevant landscapes including developers, law/policy, regulation/audit support, and/or data misuse

* PMP or PgMP certification
