The Specialized Technology Recruiting Team at Facebook supports specialized technical hiring across unique hardware initiatives and innovative technologies. These organizations are responsible for developing and building the software and hardware platforms that power Facebook, its Infrastructure, and its family of apps today (including Data Center, Core Systems Engineering, Foundation, Enterprise, Network Engineering, Production Engineering, Connectivity, Privacy and Security teams) and the platforms of the future (Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)). As a Leadership Sourcer on our Production Engineering Recruiting Team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the talent acquisition strategy for engineering and technical leadership roles. Your work will be instrumental in our ability to scale our business, working towards our mission to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. Production Engineers at Facebook are hybrid software/systems engineers who ensure that Facebook's services run smoothly and have the capacity for future growth. They are embedded in every one of Facebook's product and infrastructure teams and are core participants in every significant engineering effort underway in the company.
Leadership Sourcer, Production Engineering Responsibilities
* Help to define, design and implement leadership recruiting programs and search engagements for a variety of technical leadership roles, including understanding and mapping the talent landscape, internal calibration and referrals, and matching those data points with the external talent supply
* Partner with leadership, recruiters and hiring managers to develop a detailed profiles of target candidates with data-driven advice on the range of logical possibilities
* Skillfully support weighing the anticipated and immediate challenges of the targeted role, company/group strategic objectives, and corresponding opportunities to productively explore more diverse perspectives and tradeoffs
* Foster trust-based relationships with candidates, gaining a close understanding of their requirements and concerns
* Support an exemplary candidate experience at every stage of the process
* Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns
* Screen resumes and assess candidates to determine appropriate next steps
* Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders
* Proactively recommend and drive process improvements that impact candidate identification and engagement
* Capture and maintain accurate market, client and candidate information on our knowledge management systems so as to both facilitate the search process and our overarching Market Intelligence initiatives
* Leverage search and problem-solving expertise on a variety of Facebook Global Recruiting initiatives
* Become a contributing member of the Recruitment Leadership team that effectively embodies and promotes the culture and values of Facebook, and lead the team to do the same
Minimum Qualifications
* 5 or more years of experience with recruiting
* 2+ years of experience in technical and/or leadership recruiting
* Experience market mapping and engaging senior-level candidates
* Experience partnering with hiring teams, recruiters and clients, including senior management
* Experience developing talent market insights and data to influence leadership and cross-functional team decisions
* Demonstrated track record of building working relationships with leaders and cross-functional partner
Preferred Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in a combination of retained executive search research and large corporate technology identifying and developing software engineering leadership candidate interest
* Knowledge, comfort and versatility working on complex or technical sourcing topics
* Fearless and resilient, highly driven to be successful, an interest in technology and continuous learning
