What's the role?
The Assistant Director, Portfolio Resource Planning is responsible for consolidating, maintaining, reporting and analyzing resource demands across the enterprise portfolio of programs. The role also serves as liaison to the HR Workforce Planning team and is responsible for relaying transparent data and information that enables HR to develop optimal labor strategies and workforce plans.
* Work with Enterprise Portfolio Management Group (EPMG) metrics and insights to aggregate enterprise portfolio demand data into actionable analysis and dashboards that explain business-relevant issues, including resource bottlenecks, gaps and pinch points.
* Facilitate discussions with the Workforce Planning and Finance team. Provide relevant data and insights that facilitate the workforce planning process.
* Ensure transparency and processes are in place to support the optimization of workforce plans.
* Consult on resource demand data. Influence strategic decisions with a point of view on how to normalize resource demand and supply gaps, including any flags that trigger a need to activate risk mitigation plans.
* Identify research, tools, and analyses required to achieve objectives for large, complex strategic initiatives across the EPMG portfolio.
* Support EPMG through creation and delivery of resource data analyses using tools such as Excel and Tableau.
* Build senior leadership presentation content that supports critical decision making.
* Participate in the data collection, and provide superior analyses and interpretation/evaluation, of resource demands across the EPMG portfolio.
* Contribute to diagnostic and reactive resource demands requests that address ad hoc business issues or inquiries.

* Knowledge of Workday is a plus.
