Biological Sensors Consultant
Key Role:
Provide technical support to senior-level DoD clients and contractors. Support diverse efforts through detailed research and analysis of technical approaches and progress updates. Work as part of a team to assist clients with managing their portfolio of technical programs, including maintaining responsibility for technical evaluation and analysis, program and project management, briefing material preparation, technical risk management, project cost estimation, technology transfer efforts, and programmatic assistance, such as attending and coordinating program reviews, site visits, or field tests and organizing and maintaining files and documents. Act as a well-rounded, flexible scientist or technologist with initiative to help the team succeed.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with program or project management in professional or academic environments
-Ability to be part of a team with a national impact on science and technology development
-Ability to be a self-starter and take the lead and provide support in a team role within a complex, fast-paced, and cross-disciplinary work environment
-Ability to be team-oriented and integrate easily into a team with diverse technical backgrounds and expertise
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with the DoD a plus
-Experience with Microsoft Office
-Ability to be flexible and readily adaptable to change
-Ability to organize, multi-task, and respond to quick turn-around requests
-Ability to analyze, summarize, and communicate the intellectual content of scientific and technological information to both technical and lay audiences quickly and effectively
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent motivation and creative thinking skills
