Communications and Events Strategist, Mid

Key Role:

Design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communications materials and media. Apply specific functional and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, as needed. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees, if needed.

Basic Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in the strategic communications field, including event planning or execution
* Experience with communication in a business setting, including writing articles, developing website content, and social media strategies
* Experience with coordinating, planning, and facilitating virtual and in-person meetings and events
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

* Experience in a DoD, or Army environment preferred.
* Knowledge of AP style
* Possession of excellent listening, observation, analytical, and problem recognition skills
* Secret clearance
* MA or MS degree
